ILOSONE is a bacteriostatic antibiotic. Belongs to the group of macrolides. It is used for: diphtheria, whooping cough, trachoma, brucellosis, erythrasma, listeriosis, dysentery, gonorrhea, neonatal conjunctivitis, pneumonia in young children, genitourinary infections in pregnant women, primary syphilis, uncomplicated chlamydia in adults, infections of the ENT organs, all infections of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues, as well as infections of the mucous membranes of the eyes.

The composition and dosage of the drug.

The main component in the preparation is erythromycin, as well as excipients: povidone, crospovidone, calcium stereate, talc, potato starch.

Erythromycin disrupts the formation of all peptide bonds between the molecular weights of amino acids and destroys the synthesis (reproduction) of proteins of microorganisms. At high doses, a bactericidal effect appears.
