Description
Etodolac is a drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, arthrosis with pain and limitation of movement, acute and chronic osteoarthritis.

The main active ingredient in the composition is: etodolac.

How does the drug work?
It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic action. It inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins in the focus of inflammation, thus the drug reduces the sensitivity of pain receptors to inflammatory mediators, such as histamine, serotonin, kinins.
How to take and dosage.
It is taken orally in a daily dose of 400-1200 mg, the frequency of administration is 2 times / day (morning and evening). The maximum daily dose is 1200 mg.
For patients weighing 60 kg or less, the maximum daily dose is 20 mg/kg.
Side effects and contraindications.
Side effects: nausea, epigastric pain, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, skin rash, itching.
Contraindications: gastric ulcer, bronchial asthma, rhinitis, urticaria, pregnancy, breastfeeding, hypersensitivity.
