Description
Clomid is a drug with antiestrogenic and estrogenic activity. It is used for infertility, amenorrhea, galactorrhea, androgen deficiency. Men have oligospermia.
Ingredients: clomiphene citrate 50 mg.
Analogues: Klostilbegit.
How does the drug work?
It is believed that the action of clomiphene is due to specific binding to the estrogen receptors of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which increases the secretion of gonadotropic hormones from the pituitary gland. This in turn stimulates the maturation and endocrine activity of the follicle in the ovary, as well as the subsequent formation and stimulation of the function of the corpus luteum. In high doses, it inhibits the secretion of gonadotropins. It does not have gestagenic and androgenic activity.
How to take and dosage.
Taken inside. The dose and regimen of application is set individually, depending on the indications, treatment regimen and the effectiveness of therapy.
Side effects: nausea, vomiting, gastralgia, flatulence, diarrhea, acute abdomen syndrome, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, depression, insomnia.
