Antivert is an antihistamine drug designed to treat motion sickness and dizziness, as well as vomiting. Commonly used for motion sickness, also used for nausea during pregnancy.

Composition: the main active ingredient in the composition is meclizine.

How does the drug work?

It has anticholinergic, central nervous system depressant and local anesthetic effect. Its anti-emetic and anti-vertigo effects are not fully understood, but its central anticholinergic properties are partly responsible. The drug inhibits the excitability of the labyrinth and vestibular stimulation, may affect the trigger zone of the chemoreceptors of the medulla.

How to take and dosage.

The drug is taken orally. If you begin to feel nauseous and dizzy, you should drink 1 tablet, if the effect does not occur, the dose can be increased to 2 x tablets per application.
